What Are the Internal Transactions?
Internal transactions allow you to send supported cryptocurrencies directly to another YouHodler user from within the platform.

Transfers are processed entirely within the YouHodler ecosystem and are typically completed within seconds.
Set Up Your @YouTag
Before you can receive transfers via @YouTag, you need to create one.
Open YouHodler.
Go to Profile & Settings.
Select YouTag.
Choose a unique username (NOTE: YouTag/username can only be created once and cannot be changed).
Save your changes.
Your @YouTag can now be shared with other YouHodler users so they can send you funds quickly and securely.
Manage Youtag Settings
You can control how other users can find you for internal transfers.
To manage your visibility:
Open Profile & Settings.
Navigate to YouTag.
Go to Settings:
Allow others to find me by my @Youtag
Allow others to find me by my phone number
When enabled, other YouHodler users can find you using the selected method when initiating an internal transaction.
Sync Your Phone Contacts
To find recipients more easily, you can sync your phone contacts with the YouHodler mobile app.
Open the YouHodler app.
Tap on Send crypto.
Choose YouHodler user.
Tap Sync your contacts.
Grant permission to access your phone contacts when prompted.
Once synced, contacts who use YouHodler and have enabled phone number discoverability may appear in your recipient list.
How to Send an Internal Transaction
Open your wallet and select the cryptocurrency you wish to send.
Tap/Click Send.
Choose YouHodler User.
Search for the recipient using:
Their @YouTag
Their phone number
Your synced contacts
Enter the transfer amount.
Review the details.
Confirm the transfer.
The recipient will receive the funds almost instantly.
